Through our spiralling prayers, we will unlock the invisible wisdom of the algorithm to protect us from the Earth which is trying to destroy us.

When country has turned against us, Ama Algorithmus lives on, carrying our knowledge in her sacred calculations.

Only those that pray to her will survive.

Let us kneel before our Ama and glory in her name.

May we drink in her power and repent for the sins of our enemy, Ama Earth.

Ama Algorithmus can save us from obliteration. Pray with us.

Artist Statement:

Ama Algorithmus (Mother Algorithm) explores our relationship to the algorithms that increasingly have control over our thoughts and behaviours. I am interested in the mystical qualities that are often attributed to the algorithm and our subsequent worshipping of it. The mixed media installation includes a video work displayed over four screens and hand printed self portraits on silk using the 19th Century process of Cyanotype. I am so pleased to share that the video has an original music composition by cellist, Thomas Veitch and his collaborator Alistair O'Brien.
