Additional Information
The audience will be seated throughout the performance. All performances feature integrated NZSL interpretation. Notes on the background of this integrated interpreted performance of 'Sorry For Your Loss': New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) is closely related to Auslan (Te Ara Encyclopaedia of New Zealand). The integrated interpreted version was created with a significant consultation and development process with Deaf Specialists. The team worked alongside NZSL Creative Consultant Rāhera Turner, and NZSL interpreter Melissa Simchowitz (who provided the original translation). This version (interpreted by NZSL interpreter Melody Faaiu), will be presented with further consultation with a First Nations Deaf Consultant.
