The second accessible entrance is towards the end of George Johnson Lane. This entrance is ramp only and entry is via pushing a button to allow the door to open. There is clear signage at the Errol St entrance. The entrance via George Johnson Lane has an access symbol but it is covered by the door of the gate when propped open.
If you require a meet and assist service, please email or call Arts House and they can arrange this for you.
There are wheelchair accessible, gender-neutral toilets on each floor and you can access all levels via a lift. There is step-free access between studios, bathrooms and kitchenettes.
There's signage on all of the bathrooms and all of the bathrooms are unisex. Pathways are kept clear and provided with space for wheelchairs to access easily and have room to turn.
Quiet space available.
The room has a dimmable light from the ceiling and there are two lamps in two corners of the room.
There is a rug and coffee table in the centre of the room. Around this are low beanbag chairs as well as cushioned structured seats.
There is a sink and a water cooler.
There are sensory toys, books and sensory cushions and blankets in the space.
There is both paid and free on-street parking on Queensberry and Errol Streets. There are two accessible on-street parking spaces on Queensberry Street (150m from our accessible Errol Street entrance) for holders of a parking permit for people with disabilities.
