Protocol in Experimental Practice

Venue

A panel that navigates the delicate balance between maintaining cultural protocols of First Nations cultures and the freedom to experiment within evolutionary art forms. This conversation will explore how artists and cultural leaders are honouring the protocols passed down through generations while pushing the boundaries of creative expression to challenge, innovate, and reimagine what art can be.

"Protocol in Experimental Practice" is a space to dive deep into the intersection of tradition and experimentation. It asks: How can we be true to our cultural integrity while embracing the unknown, expanding artistic practices, and breaking new ground in the creative world? How do we ensure that innovation is done with respect, care, and knowledge, and that cultural protocols are not only upheld but celebrated?
