The recent signing of Treaty in Victoria marks a powerful step toward sovereignty, truth and collective progress. We honour the ancestors and Elders who paved the way for this moment — those who can’t be here with us, but whose strength and vision continue to guide every step forward.

We acknowledge the incredible work of the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria, the Yoorrook Justice Commission, and the wider Victorian First Peoples community whose leadership, persistence and unity have brought us to this milestone.
