Bringing country into the heart of YIRRAMBOI is Yorta Yorta woman Madi Colville-Walker, an inspiring singer-songwriter and musician.

Madi finds inspiration in artists such as Archie Walker (grandfather and Yorta Yorta elder), Benny Walker, Cassie Leopold, and Rob Walker who taught Madi to play guitar.

She has performed at many events throughout Victoria and NSW including; Echuca/Moama Winter Blues Festival, 3 Rivers Festival, Land of Plenty Festival, National Firesticks conference, National Climate Change conference, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Nelson Mandela Day Australia and has opened for many well known Artists such as Archie Roach, Isiah Firebrace, Benny Walker, Fanny Lumsden, Kutcha Edwards and Darlinghurst.

2021 plans to be a big year for Madi. Already an established singer/songwriter in her own right, she has commenced collaborating with other artists and is especially excited to work with Jason Resch (Pet Shop Boys, Gabriella Cilmi and Kylie Minogue) and share some of her fresh, exciting new material.
