Celebrating 30 Years of ILBIJERRI

For 30 years, ILBIJERRI Theatre Company has been at the forefront of platforming First Nations voices and stories in the arts.

Explore the multitude of Blak theatre works, programs and the multilayers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stories that interweave to create ILBIJERRI’s remarkable history.

Join us for a vibrant collection of monologues, community testimonials and storytelling led by a panel of some of ILBIJERRI’s founding members, and supported by the ILBIJERRI Ensemble.

Discover the daring hopes and dreams that were the building blocks of the longest running Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander theatre company in Australia as we reflect on 30 years of being bold, black and brilliant.
